  With the last energies of your mortal existence you regret your last
misstep.  Having strayed from the safety of the stairs you begin your
painful (though thankfully swift) death by fire.  Somewhat detached you
notice your left foot has burst into flames.  Just about the time you wonder
why such a thing doesn't hurt the pain reaches your mind and you expire
issuing a blood-curdling scream.
