The passage widens a bit as it stretches further downward into the
recesses of the mountain.  The volcano seems to have some life left in it
deep within its bowels.  Very hot water flows from beneath this tunnel
clashing with the cooler temperatures from above.  Hidden far from the eyes
of the surface world the heavy taste of alkaline metals swim in a froth of
nutrient rich liquids here.
