This street is made of well-worn cobblestones set closely together.  The
pattern is broken only by the little gardens and single trees which line the
middle of the road.  The smell of oak is strong, and there are little furry
creatures peeking their heads out from under a large, freestanding fence
made of thorns which encircles an ancient strand of oak trees to the south. 
You see a crown above a square shield painted above the open door to the
north.  
    You sense a hidden life form in the area.
