Mellowed, time-worn cobblestones underfoot hint at the age of Scrane
Lane.  Part of the original village, the fishermen built their houses and
shops well inland to avoid the ravages of the sea.  Even now the occasional
cottage or small shop remains, remnants of an earlier time.  From here
Belleck Way begins its meanderings south toward the harbor.  The Tellerium
Bank is right here to the north.
