Description of The Oceans of Alyria:
From the darkest, deepest blues of the Oceanus Ingenii to the rolling plains
of the Mudapa, Alyria has everything and something for each adventurer. For
myself, the oceans drew me in. Ever since I was but a lad, the thunderous
roar of waves beyond our village's border called out to me like the siren
songs drifting across the rocks. Over the years, I spent more and more time
in Ithrilis' domain. I crossed the seas a thousand times, I became a pirate
and pirate hunter, and now here I am, too old to see and sail alone.
While my time is coming to an end, all I want is more people to learn the
beauty of the sea and sailing. It's hard work, oft costly and at times
frustrating, especially if you gut your dreadnaught on the straits of Sigil,
but there's nothing like the whisper of wind and waves. If you'd like to
learn about sailing in Alyria, follow this task and ask each person for
knowledge.
