You say, 'Disease'
'This sickness has slowly sapped my strength for years...' the head kobold says to you. 'There is a scroll that is supposedly capable of curing me, but thus far no help has come... Would you be willing to help?'
<1468hp 1295sp 1033st> say yes
'Yes' you say.
'I sent an underling to retrieve the scroll capable of curing my disease, but he reneged and has not returned.' the head kobold says to you.
'If you would give me the scroll, I will reward you...' the head kobold says to you.
The head kobold says to you, 'The slaves mine just more than what it costs to feed them, so I cannot pay you in gold, but I will tell you a magical word I discovered etched in the walls in my own youth.'

On the Cavern Floor - - -

The eerie glow here lights the cavern up as bright as day. The cavern
wall rising above you is a truly majestic sight: it takes your breath away.
To your south, you can see the underground river, and beyond that, the
entrance to these caverns. To your east, you see a landing of some sort,
and the skeletal bridge as well.
A kobold adventurer skulks about the cave.
A kobold adventurer jumps two feet in the air at your approach, surprised by your presence.
A kobold adventurer whispers to you, 'You've come for me, haven't you? Haven't you?? If you're here for me, you're out of luck, I'm already dead, if you're here for it, well, well... well. What are you here for??'
<1471hp 1303sp 766st> say scroll
'Scroll' you say.
'Aaaah, for some reason I actually completed my task, but I took longer than expected.' a kobold adventurer says to you. 'That cruel bastard would skin me if I returned now, so I just never did.'
'I could give the scroll to you, but I would require that you do something in return...' a kobold adventurer says to you. 'Do you think we can do business?'
<1471hp 1303sp 766st> say yes
'Yes' you say.
'Excellent.' a kobold adventurer says to you. 'The morkoth by the bridge has something I want... just an old crown, but it makes my heart flutter every time I see it... '
A kobold adventurer says to you, 'If you could arrange for it to come into my posession, I would gladly give you the scroll the taskmaster needs.'

This grotto, apparently once inhabited by some manner of intelligent
creature, has since been overrun by a type of beast which seem to be related
to mountain sprites. These pitiful creatures shrink from you and attempt to
hide in the shadows to avoid your gaze. From the shadows you can hear their
annoying sniveling and a wave of disgust washes over you.

As you enter the chamber, the smell of death makes you retch. Corpses
litter the floor, and blood is splattered everywhere. In the center of the
room lies yet another chest. Unlike the last one, however, this one is made
of a completely untarnished silvery metal, and is completely unadorned. The
feeling of unease has intensified, and not just because of the carnage:
Something is watching you.
A plain chest made of a silvery metal glows of its own accord.
