You seem to have missed the point; you were able to counterspell his 2 second spells (ie, cure light), which isn't normally possible. Making it nearly impossible for him to ever heal, at all, and slanting the fight hugely in your favor. Although, frankly, he should've still been able to crush you in seconds. I killed you in what, 6 rounds? |

Lewd you missed the point. This is a prime example of how counterspell should be used. In this case it was used to finish off a fight by preventing the opponent from hanging in there spamming heal (or cure light or whatever). It was executed flawlessly. Yes, Aarons should have been able to crush him, but Stakker showed an awesome use of skills. Learn something from this please. What kind of archon brags about killing a 180? |

Squash, shut up. I hate to bring out 'NO U', but, NO, YOU'RE MISSING THE POINT. The main advantage of cure light is that it can be used in nearly all circumstances (silenced, blind, webbed, assuming it's mastered). Your opponent being able to counterspell it doesn't usually happen, as they have to be before you in the player list (which is now randomized and cannot be influenced by players). I've fought Aarons many times, and he's no slouch. If it weren't for Stakker being able to CS his cure light, I'm sure this would've ended differently. As for me 'bragging' about killing him, Stakker challenged me. Besides that; I meant that to illustrate Aarons' failure to utilize his superior character and end the fight quickly (like, oh noes, I did) rather than any slight to Stakker. Due to sheer equipment and damage output differences, a few bashes should be, and is, more than enough for any Archon to kill a 180 of Stakker's caliber (read: not stupid and maxed). I have nothing to "learn" from an Archon losing to a 180; anyone who thinks there could possibly be anything of value gleaned from this log is just ignorant. Please think before you type. That is all. |

Gotta give props to the 180 for using good techniques to slay an archon, that is all. For some reason you can't agree with that. |

Regardless. I'm not trying to take credit away from Stakker for winning; I completely agree that Aarons should've won regardless, and it was bad decisions on his part that cost him the fight (That we conveniently can't see because Stakker only logs half the fight for some reason). But Stakker did win due to extenuating circumstances, and that does NOT indicate character superiority. He called Aarons 'pathetic'. I agree that Aarons failed here, but that doesn't make him pathetic. That was my point. Stop making things into more than they are. |
