So, Alyce claims to have saved this game.
Alyce: If you saved this game, why is the guy you saved us from back? You didn’t save us from Duende, You saved us from this owner, who had grown lazy and didn’t give a crap about the game for over 3 years. If he had cared, he would have never sold, and he would have fixed the duende situation himself.
Vassago: If you care so much now, like you are pretending to care. You wouldn’t be running around ruling things with a stone fist freezing anyone who questions you or stands against you. Some people think right now you are the savior of this game. But let me be real for a moment, you are no savior. You are a modern day tyrant, “The Hitler of Alyria”. I know you will freeze/ban me for this. Thing is at this point, why would it matter. What I think, what any player not in your circle thinks doesn’t matter.
Everyone: If you think I am wrong, question Vassago’s motives. Stand up for what is right. Don’t let him ruin what once was a great game. Yes he created Materia Magica, but truth be told, he stole the core dynamics of it. So at the end of the day Vassago is a Liar, Cheater, and Thief. Now how can he ever be trusted?

One thing I've noticed about Vass is that he doesn't deny being a liar, a thief or a scam artist, he just tries to silence people. The biggest issue is that he made immense profits over the years. Immense, literally over a million dollars just from people sinking money into donations. I know he created the game but since I started playing he hasn't done one positive thing for general game play. If there's problems on runs he refuses to step in and leaves your group to wait for several hours until Duende would come around, despite being able to look at the code and tell you what's wrong with it. From what I gather he also added Witch and Religions, one being a very poorly designed class and the latter being a broken game aspect that shouldn't have been introduced. Ships? They broke the economy in the first place and are still stupidly exploitable. Virtually no positive additions to the game. Alyce on the other hand is just turning the game into his own personal sandbox. This is what happens when you've got unlimited wealth to waste and grow up without a slap on the wrist. No common sense and he doesn't really care as long as he gets his way. Another funny thing is that somehow Omnis was part of the Alliance 2 members. How funny would it be if he added himself to one of the clans to request a password when nobody was around. Kayde was definitely in the wrong for omitting the truth for so long, even to people that have signed NDAs. If Alyce was open about it from the start and kept Omnis off live then nothing bad would have happened. There wouldn't be immense amounts of drama caused by players asking Alyce to act fairly, there wouldn't be Vass trash talking people and acting like he's a saint and honestly Kayde, Esker and Hez probably wouldn't have left in the first place. Kayde was trying to turn the game around and she was fired and now Alyce is acting like a bully knowing her real life circumstances. Great business model, Alyce. I'm sure daddy will support your interests in venture capitalism. |

so so brave. using someone else's screen name, heh. that said, i don't even particuarly like nobadii, but i think you've hit it on the head. the 1 honest person in the thing gets pushed out; she was supposed to sweep that under the rug like a good girl. if alyce wants to be a mortal & amongst the players he should act like one, but hasn't. now he's threatening her w/ legal action & posting propaganda. duey only likes us when he's drunk, which is also when he did his best coding. never tested anything so 1/2 of it's still broken. turns out a bunch of those marks & bk's didn't work because he set the % too low. only thing i ever saw vass do in 4 yrs was fail to fix that big gold bug, and now site ban ppl to shut em up. not unlike watching the nazis roll in. or back in? problem is, pitchforks don't work well vs. tanks. better armament's required. why stick around to watch rascon become king of the bads. |
