This looks deceptively like the other niches carved in the wall all along
the sides of catacombs, but appears, in fact, to be more. No corpse resides
here, and instead of wrapped treasures for the corpse to take into the
afterlife, at the head of the indentation there is a small feldspar wall
with a keyhole. Whoever sanctioned the creation of this niche was obviously
well-connected, as they were able to get it disguised by a permanent
illusion to prevent crypt looting. Perhaps whatever is behind the feldspar
wall is best left untouched.

Dull green feldspar walls reflect little light, absorbing much of it with
their lack of sheen or shine. Something omnipresent but unidentifiable
shines from somewhere, illuminating without presence. Even the floor is
smooth, clean feldspar. The ugly green is a color unlike anything found in
nature, yet here it is in a massive, hollowed room of a single stone
interior face. This huge room could possibly be the most boring place in
Alyria, if not for the astonishingly terrible and pervasive scent of death.

divot in it waiting to be filled.
An urn big enough to fit the ashes of an ogre sits in the center of this pl
ace.

big that it could likely
accomodate the remains of the entire population of Templeton within its
marble walls. Whatever this urn contains must be awfully big, although it
seems impossible to see what is inside it, since you cannot even see its
topside.
