sorry…trolling for a purpose though… when you are looking at an item…would there be an easy method to link the type to that particular list? like swords to swords, relics to relics, etc? make EQ hunts easier for the layperson |

Most readers will already know some of the following information, but many of them will not know all of it. -Tejon Items naturally have a type. For example, look at this item: [mmcode] Item ‘a black belt’ is type clothing, alignment 0, made of cloth, has keywords ‘belt black ninja’, and can be equipped around the waist. This item weighs 0 stones and 1 pebbles, and is valued at 32,800 gp. This level 163 item has the attributes: identified insulated Affects accuracy by 5 for -1 minutes. Affects strength by -1 for -1 minutes. Can be used to cast the level 95 spell, ‘pass door’. *This item may be repaired 4 more times. The belt is made of normal cloth but stitched in to the center of the belt is a mystic symbol. It is also in black thread but seemingly just an off color so that it doesn’t stand out but still can be seen under close inspection. [/mmcode] The first line lists it as type ‘clothing’. When you submit an item, the submit engine picks apart all that information and enters it into the database. You can then search the database for most (perhaps even all, I haven’t counted) of those fields. If you want to search for item type ‘weapon’, just go to http://www.annwn.info/itemsearch.php and select "Item Type" from the first pulldown menu and enter "weapon’ in the keyword box. If you want a specific weapon type, such as a list of all the daggers, then select ‘Weapon’ from the pulldown menu and enter ‘dagger’ in the keyword field. Additionally, there are pre-formated searches for particular things, which can be accessed by the sitemap: http://www.annwn.info/sitemap.php (also linked in the upper right hand corner of most of the pages on the site). These include lists such as astrals, donation items, keys, and relics. If you have an idea for a specialized list, let a clan member know. |

sorry…trolling for a purpose though… Clicking on the item-type when viewing an item now shows all items of the same type. |
