The Manari were an ancient order of cavaliers wiped out in a brutal genocide
centuries ago, and one of their ancient spears seems to have finally found
its way into your hands, passed down through various Lasler trainers to a
fitting host setting out on the rider's path.  This spear was likely a last
resort; while mounted, short range weapons open wide gaps in the rider and
his horse's defenses.  However, even cavaliers need a backup plan for when
they're knocked off, and apparently this was the Manari's.
