surface.  Were someone to run their finger along its surface, they would
find a slick layer of poison coating it, several barbs along its hidden
surface waiting to tear the skin and let the poison in, and the owner's
unique sigil.  It would, however, be a quick death for the inquisitor.  The
recently-surfaced knave order based in nearby New Rigel has begun
manufacturing these weapons, shipping them to every city - even Lasler
Valley.
