This powerful ring is crafted of pure, sterling silver. Writing appears
to be circumscribed around the ring, but it's far too small to read, almost
too small to even see. Whatever the words say, they obviously are
components to a powerful time-slowing spell. A mote of dust floats just a
hair's width away from the ring. It continues to float there, and keeps
continuing to do so. It will likely continue to do so past the local
attention span, and much farther past that. The ring seems to be dangerous
in this way, in that anything coming within its magical aura will likely get
stuck, to emerge seconds later to a world decades in the future.
Fortunately, a wise soul has threaded a silver link chain through the ring,
to be worn as a necklace, thereby transferring the time-altering effects of
the ring to the necklace and all surrounding equipment, insulating the
wearer of that equipment in a causally-protective shroud.
