There looks to be about thirty or forty skulls in this pyramid, built up
neatly enough, and most of them are humanoid: gnomes, humans, minotaurs and
every other race have been collected here, empty eyesockets all staring out
accusingly. Some of them have unfamiliar runes carved into the foreheads,
possibly done while alive, but very likely for some dark deeds. This would
explain the reports of travelers disappearing from the road after dark.
