NPC: An elite stormvalkyrie guard
Long Desc: A burly, bearded valkyrie stands here, daring you to come forward.

These stout, bearded stormvalkyries are quite a sight.  The best of the
best of Alyria, they are the highest echelon of guards in the Arcane
Council's employ.  They are all female, in light of females' superior battle
skills, but they're all technically men.  The Council feeds them a daily
regimen of potions, brews and herbs, to keep them in peak condition, and
primarily to keep them in thrall.  Even the most moral of men has faults,
and these stormvalkyries are proof.  Although their lives have been greatly
extended by mysterious potions lost to all but the most politically powerful
archmages, their lives are greatly disjointed by the other alterations to
their bodies.  In order to enhance the valkyries' natural abilities, their
sexes are changed by their enchanted breastplates, giving them full beards
and greater muscle mass.  These valkyries have fire in their eyes, but it is
a dulled fire; they can kill instantly, and will without hesitation, but not
without a direct order from above.
