Since the time when the first ogre tread upon the earth, this massive
beast has lived in the deepest nether regions of his brackish lake.  Named
by the ogres in the nearby village as "the whompfish," he thrives by eating
anything alive or dead that floats to the bottom.  His favorite meal is the
sizeable meaty goodness of an ogre and he will go out of his way to snack
upon them.  He guards the crude bridge across the lake very closely and
often attempts to knock passers-by into his waiting jaws.  He has one large
tentacle growing above his one large eye and his enormous body is covered
with slimy scales that blend into the murky waters.
He is a deepspawn approximately 7'1" tall.
