NPC: A sacred owl of darkness
Long Desc: A dark-feathered owl looks at you from mid-air.

This small bird is wise beyond its years, but is covered in a shroud of
darkness, eminating fom somewhere deep inside it.  It is a mystical being,
and moves quickly, its actions are a blur in your vision.  Finding that any
any attempt to focus on it causes you anguish, you have to look away, else
its darkness be passed on to you.
It is a bird approximately 1'7" tall.
