NPC: The gauth
Long Desc: An ill tempered beholder floats about looking for something to attack.

The gauth is a relative of the beholder that feeds on magic.  Its
spherical body is 5 feet in diameter and brown in color, mottled with purple
and gray.  Located in the center of the gauth's forward hemisphere is a
large central eye atop which an eyestalk rests.  On the underside of the
beasts fearsome mouth lie four feeding tendrils, dripping with poison.
He is a beholder approximately 5'5" tall.
