NPC: Vortex
Long Desc: A tall woman in a black floor-length dress is standing here.

This must be Vortex, the evil Mistress of the Dark that you have heard so
much about.  It's rumored that she gained her powers through the sacrifice
of hundreds of innocents hundreds of years ago and seeks to bring the
denizens of the world under her dark control.  No one has seen her for over
thirty years, when the children started to disappear from the villages and
townes neighboring her dark tower.  The townspeople banded together and
stormed her tower, only to find it empty, Vortex nowhere to be found.  A
mysterious note left on her workbench in a grisly top floor laboratory
contained only the words 'I shall return' written in blood.  Whose blood, it
is not certain.  What is certain is that if you're seeing the Dark Mistress
now, something terrible is about to happen.  Best to leave while you still
can!
She is a human approximately 5'7" tall.
