NPC: Professor Varda
Long Desc: An elderly, disheveled man dressed in bloodstained robes eyes you warily.

This is Professor Varda, a retired archaeologist from the Ilandrama
Library in Sigil.  What he is doing on this dangerous island in the middle
of the Alyrian Underground is anyone's guess.  He looks quite disheveled,
and his robes are stained with blood.  You can practically see the magical
shield he has erected about his form, presumably to keep the more vile
denizens of the isle at bay.
He is a human approximately 5'8" tall.
