Long Desc: A mottled lizard seems to blend into its environment.

The multicolored pattern of scales that runs up and down this large lizard's
body give it a mottled appearance that seems to blend into its environment.
As long as you keep your eye on it, it is easy to make out, but after
looking away momentarily, discerning its outline is again a challenge.
It is a lizard approximately 1'6" tall.
