NPC: The Rune Gate Guard
Long Desc: A towering guard of Rune stands here, protecting the gate.

It is likely no coincidence that a towering behemoth of a man was tasked
with guarding the entrance of Rune.  This guard is one of the few with no
visible weapons, but because of his stature is frightening all the same.  He
stands with the stoic manner of most guards, observing his surroundings with
no perceptible reactions.  The deep tan on his visible skin tells the amount
of time he must spend at the gate.  Along with the protection of the town,
his duties include informing visitors of the recent decisions of the mayor.
It is a human approximately 5'9" tall.
