NPC: A plump owl
Long Desc: A plump brown owl perches in one of the nearby trees.

This dark brown owl lives an exceedingly peaceful life in this forest.
Regulations have prevented both hunters and loggers from disturbing its
habitat, and the food chain is kept rigorously in check to avoid one species
dominating.  It is free to spend most of its time sleeping, occasionally
swooping down to the forest floor to pick up a meal.  It blends in well with
the brown of the trees, and contributes to the idyllic picture of Astarach.
It is a bird approximately 1'7" tall.
