NPC: The manifestation of Vandyne
Long Desc: A wizened old man with a beard of shifting smoke looks fondly at you.

This wizened old man seems to be more than what he first appears - he
seems somehow more real, more solid, than any of his surroundings.  Could
this be a manifestation of one of the Powers?  He stands dutifully next to
the doors, and since you can't figure out how to open them yourself you
decide that he must be in charge of unlocking them.
He is a human approximately 5'7" tall.
