This quest is called 'Bats and Rats!', for Adventurers levels

Description of Bats and Rats!:
These vermin have been plaguing the castle for some time now. In fact
the ladies are afraid to venture into their rooms for fear of being bitten,
and the fleas are just awful. The doctors warn that a serious plague may
break out if this infestation continues. If you could help destroy these
creatures, you will be greatly rewarded. It is rumored that the origin of
this infestation is Dungeon Avarice, but many adventurers are afraid to
venture into that deep and dark place. If you could go and investigate the
source of our problems as well as deal with any threats you find, you will
be greatly rewarded. There have been reports of rats as far away as
Lowangen and the depths of Rune so your travels may be long indeed. May the
Powers be with you!

Rune forest, on the path as you enter the forest. —

Phase 6 is now (Phase 6: Defeat a risen paladin.) They are located in the dark part of Rune Forest. —
