Quest: Market Economy
This quest [950] is called 'Market Economy',
for Adventurers levels 120 to 180.
Lord Maldra [Maldra Keep] is the master in charge of this quest.
I have just been informed that we have had yet another miserable tax
period. You would think these ungrateful shopkeepers would be making a lot
of money since their shops are located in one of only two towns on the
entire continent of Beltane. However, it seems like that they are all
barely hanging on, and do not have any money to pay taxes so that I can
provide my assistance to them and protect their businesses. I recently
received a letter from Baron Rothchild. His shops seem to be doing quite
well. In fact, Rothchild earned nearly twenty five million gold pieces from
the sales tax alone, compared to my measly five million! To add insult to
injury, I spent most of it on paying these greedy city guards! Please
investigate and tell me what they are doing differently in Pirate's Cove. I
need more money to defeat that annoying Agrippa! I will reward you well for
your time and effort. Hurry back with answers to turn this around!
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive:
*Up to 55 quest points, 5 practice points, 42,000 experience points,
0 build points, 0 piety, and 11,000 gold pieces.
You have 250 minutes remaining to complete this quest.
