This quest is called 'Ranger Protection', for Adventurers levels 30 to 250.
Description of Ranger Protection:
One of the first things a combat MAGE learns is how to protect
themselves in battle. A RANGER has several spells at their disposal to
keep them safe from damage. Head to the Magencia northeast of here. Find
an ancient treant and see if it has the scroll for 'GUISE OF NATURE.'
This spell will add to your armor rating. On your way to Xaventry, head by
Winterborn's Mansion and see if the Hedge Maze is open. The scroll for
WHIRLWIND, a spell that increases your attack speed and resistance to
air based damage, can be found inside. Once in Xaventry, visit an old sage
and inquire about an ARMOR scroll and the location of the 'STONE
SKIN' scroll. After you have located these four scrolls, return to Sigil
and visit Arianus. Study these spells well, as they will mean the
difference in most of your battles.
Upon successful completion of this quest you can receive up
to 55 quest points, 5 practice points, 40000 experience points, and 3500 gold pieces.
