Questmaster: Elauyin [Rune Forest]
This quest is called 'In Defense of Rune River', for Adventurers levels 10 to 60.
Description of In Defense of Rune River:
Predictably, the Order of the Malachite Golem is striking back, but it's not
quite how we expected. Our person on the inside has warned us that they're
planning to poison Rune River, which is at the least rather unique for them.
The river flows down from the mountains to the north of the Forest, deep
into the underground, feeding aquifers and lakes that supply the towne of
Rune, New Rigel and much more. This is why our Order exists, to stop such
insanity, and this is why you are here.

Seek out an offering to the Water Spirit; they drift throughout the forest
and along the road. Take it to his Shrine by the Clockwork Oak's roots -
it'll awaken him to what's going on, so if the worst happens he can at least
try to slow it. After that, get to the apex of the river, in the northwest
corner of the Forest. Stop whoever is trying to do this, at all costs!
