You are walking behind the buildings along Market Street in a dark
alleyway.  You know this must be the only place where thieves live in
Xaventry, and even still, this place is very near to the main guard barrack.
There is a whole line of strange run down shops to the south, you wonder
what kind of secret business must go on in the darker parts of the towne of
Xaventry.  South of here is an old Apothecary shop selling potions of
various spells.  
A soldier who has been stationed at the barracks watches over you.
