This office belongs to the general himself, chief of the defense of
Xaventry.  Although Xaventry rarely sees much combat, the general always
takes his job too seriously and overtrains his troops.  According to the
rumour, the general believes that there is some sort of threat of drow raids
upon Xaventry's safety.  However, Xaventry's citizens will tell you nothing
of the sort has ever happened.
