You are walking along a dimly lit hallway on the way to the central
chambers and high altar of the temple.  The walls here are still made of
crystal, but because you are further away from the edges, the sun's light
doesn't refract as much in here.  The high altar to the west is glowing with
a light so intense that it is nearly blinding.
