The little light in this room is woefully inadequate to dispel the
shadows that gather around the room's edges.  The dark stone floor is cold
and bare.  The black walls are stark and unadorned.  To the north the
darkness continues undaunted.  To the south, it is pitch black except for a
glimmer of light from some dim source.  To the east and west stand two
simple, but stout oak doors.
An assassin stands on guard here, alert for intruders.
