The ground is littered with moss-covered skulls, bones, and skeletons. 
Scattered about the area are remains of armor and weapons that deteriorated
to worthlessness from age and the moisture in the air.  A thick pall of
glowing orange smoke and fog hovers over the area obscuring your vision.  As
you peer through the misty haze you can make out the wall of a glacier that
blocks the north end of the gorge.  You notice large rusty iron rings
embedded deeply into the glacier with chains attached to them.  Between
the two rings is a strange circular indentation embedded in the wall.
A small pool of blood has been spilt here.
