The wind howls across the the top of the hip deep snow making movement
extremely slow and tiresome.  Your vision is obscured and you can not see
more than a few feet away from you.  You lose all sense of direction as the
wind swirls snow and ice around you with increasing force.  You struggle
just to maintain your balance.  A thick fog surrounds you as you feel
something warm seeping into your boots.
