Built as an offshoot of Orange Court, Golden Lane was built by the newly
moneyed people created when New Rigel blossomed from a sleepy farming
village to a booming metropolis.  Slightly less fashionable than the older,
more established neighborhood to the north, it nonetheless has a greater
concentration of wealth.
