The gate protecting the town of Pirate's Cove is a very old double gate. 
The gates themselves are huge, hinged doors made of squared logs fastened
together by long, thick steel bands.  The gate to the west leads to the road
that runs through the Beltane wilderness, while the gate to the east is one
of the last formidable defenses for the town of Pirate's Cove.
