You are walking through a narrow, circular tunnel leading into the depths
of the mountain.  The edges of the corridor are very smooth, almost as if
they had been melted away.  Perhaps these tunnels were originally conduits
for flowing lava, and are now empty because the volcano is less active.  You
hope that there isn't an eruption any time soon, or else you could be in
some serious trouble.  There is a cloud of steam filling the corridor to the
east, and waves of heat come pouring out at you.  
  You can see the faint red outline of something moving around the area.
