  Ignoring the massive increase in temperature, you begin edging closer to
the hole in the center of the chamber from which flames billow forth. 
However, before you can get a good look, the heat becomes so intense that
your clothing bursts into flame.  Screaming uncontrollably, you stumble and
fall down through the fire.  Just before you pass out from the intense pain,
you catch a glimpse of the pool of molten lava you are hurtling towards.
