Trapped Beneath An Elevator                            -      -      -

As you step into the shaft, you look around in confusion for some way to
operate the elevator.  All the ones you've heard about in the past have a
simple mechanism for control, but all you can find are a number of ropes. 
Frustrated, you tug on one of them, but all that happens is a faint snapping
sound from above.  Suddenly you have a very bad feeling about things, and
look up in time to see another platform plummeting down towards you.
