Sinking Beneath the Surface                            -      -      -

Ignoring your better judgement, you begin to walk towards the center of
the pond.  The thick layer off moss on the surface supports your weight, but
you notice that your feet are sinking in deeper and deeper with every step. 
Suddenly, the moss beneath you gives way, sending you plunging into the
water.  You struggle to reach the surface, but the vegetation seems much
thicker from below and you are unable to break through.  You begin to feel
lightheaded, and realize that the moss must be secreting some strange
chemical into the water to protect itself from you
