As you enter this room, you can sense a strong evil presence blanketing
the area, which stifles your ability to work magic.  There is a stairway
leading up from here, and you wonder who would be living deep enough in the
mountain to construct such a thing.  You notice that none of the creatures
nearby are willing to come anywhere near it, and decide that the level above
may be quite a dangerous place.
