This small platform juts out from the side of a massive circular chamber.
The most obvious feature of the cavern is the fact that it is filled with
fire, rising up from far below.  It looks like the ledge you are standing on
ran all the way around the room at one point, but the constant heat has
caused it to break apart in two places.  You should be able to make your way
safely to the south, or you could try to make the dangerous jump up to the
other part of the ledge above you to the east.
