A raised central wooden platform upon which members of the council would
normally be seated has been placed to give visitors a sense of inferiority. 
Hanging from surrounding walls are portraits of important yet hideously ugly
figures in Kulahn history.  West from here is a courtyard and to the south
is a war room.
