It is hard not to notice how painfully hot this place is.  Whenever any
skin makes contact with the smoldering rocky walls, you are rewarded with a
blistering burn.  Breathing is nearly impossible here and every time you
inhale your throat is tortured.  The tunnel looks more hospitable to the
south, although the walls appear to be closing in on you the further south
