There is a large table in the center of this room, cut from the same
stone as the floor.  The area is circular, and the walls are pitted and
scarred.  Deposits of soot and grime have collected everywhere, and a
strange pattern is burnt into the ceiling.  It looks as though the burns
were made by lightning, and may have been the result of a magical experiment
gone wrong.
