The steps on this staircase are very large, and each step you take seems
to take effort.  The stained glass window causes a slight distortion, making
it even harder to walk.  On the wall you can see a large painting, done with
exquisite detail.  The handrail on the side was carved into a unique oval
shape, and is very cold to the touch.  You can go down the stairs to the
northeast.  To the southwest is a hallway.
