This balcony stretches over part of the castle, far enough from the edge
to be safe from any attacks if the time were to come.  Over the northern
side of the balcony, you can see the small town right inside the castle
border.  The height of the castle also gives you a view of the rest of the
continent, and the sea close by.  There is also a garden here, one of the
few spots in the castle that gets enought sunlight to grow plants.
