A large fire is burning with so much intensity the grass around the
dug-out fire pit is scorched for many feet.  The flame's blistering heat
provides warmth on cool nights and also seems to the location of nightly
feasts.  Many big chunks of meat and several whole animals lie burnt in the
dirt, gathering flies.  The fire seems magical in nature as it rarely wavers
and never catches the surrounding tents on fire.  The northern tent has an
opening nearly thirty feet high.  Declining to the west, the path leaves
this massive village while the east leads uphill towards the sound of
thunderous slams that shake the ground.
