This large granite chamber, deep beneath the mansion, is ideal for
storing wine and other aged spirits.  The lighting has been carefully dimmed
so that the personally selected vintages are not harmed by exposure to
bright light.  Racks containing hundreds of cork sealed bottles line the
walls from floor to ceiling.  Large casks containing many of the same
vintages are stacked in the center of the room.  The wine cellar extends to
the west.  A stairwell leads up to the first floor of the mansion.
