This converted cellar has become the evening meeting place for the
working citizens of Winton.  The long chamber contains several extended
tables so that everyone may sit.  A podium is placed to the rear so
presentations may be made before the entire village, either by the mayor or
other concerned resident.  The bar itself is weathered and worn, probably
salvaged along with most of the structural material in town.  The low
chittering of people fills the air, along with the mixing scents of
different alcohol.  A staircase near the podium leads up to the mayor's
residence.  
     There's a tall oil lamp in the corner, filled with fuel.
All smiles and sparkly eyes, a child of Winton walks along merrily.
The bartender, Miller, leans gently on the counter.
'Welcome to the compactor, make yourself comfortable!' Miller the bartender exclaims.
